CBSUA RESEARCH PROGRAM ON TARO, INDIGENOUS CROPS UNDERGOES PRE-TERMINAL REVIEW

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) presented the accomplishments of the CBSUA/DOST-PCAARRD-funded program titled “Boosting the Taro Industry and Indigenous Crops of the Bicol Region” during its Pre-Terminal Program Review on September 4, 2025. The review was led by the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), through its Crops Research Division.

The activity aimed to: monitor and evaluate the progress of project implementation; assess the extent to which expected outputs had been achieved; discuss and address constraints encountered during implementation; and identify spin-offs, offshoots, or gaps for future R&D initiatives.

Program leader Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario, together with Prof. Lilia C. Pasiona, Ms. Rocelyn M. Imperial, other project staff, and representatives from the accounting office, participated in the review. Dr. Del Rosario and his team presented the highlights of the accomplishments of the projects under the program.
