CBSUA CONDUCTS ONLINE BENCHMARKING WITH CLSU FOR ETEEAP BS AGRICULTURE PROGRAM

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) is currently holding an online benchmarking activity with Central Luzon State University (CLSU) for the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). The virtual session is being conducted today, November 14, 2025, via Zoom.

The activity aims to observe and learn from CLSU’s curriculum delivery for the BS Agriculture program under ETEEAP, and to gather insights on administrative processes, facilities, and strategies employed in its implementation.

CBSUA is in the process of applying for re-certification in accordance with CHED Memorandum Order No. 29, Series of 2021. In line with this, the Faculty of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) initially sought permission to conduct an on-site benchmarking activity at CLSU. However, due to the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Uwan, the activity was shifted to an online format.

CLSU ETEEAP Program Head Dr. Cesar V. Ortinero, together with his team, addressed the questions raised by CBSUA participants during the session.

Campus Administrator Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario stated that benchmarking activity presents an important opportunity to strengthen CBSUA’s implementation of ETEEAP, ultimately benefiting students, faculty, and stakeholders in the Bicol Region. “We are grateful to CLSU for accommodating our request to conduct this benchmarking activity. And we look forward to expanding and strengthening our collaboration with their institution,” he added.
