As part of the continuing celebration of National Women’s Month, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) gathered the university community for a morning of shared meals and engagement at the GAD Inclusivity Park on March 9, 2026.
Faculty, staff, personnel, and students enjoyed free servings of hot champorado and pandesal during the activity, which aimed to foster community participation and highlight the spirit of inclusivity promoted during the Women’s Month celebration.
Sponsored by Ms. Ires Coballes and Ms. Ma. Elsa Malna, the initiative was facilitated by the University Alumni Office and the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, with support from members of the Tau Gamma Phi–Sigma CBSUA Pili Chapter, Alumni Scholars, and the Dawani Student Core Group, who assisted in the preparation and distribution of the meals.
The activity also featured the distribution of GAD mugs as tokens of appreciation for university faculty and staff who continue to support gender and development initiatives within the institution.
Alongside the morning gathering, a Women Agro-Entrepreneur Trade Fair Year 3 was also held at the venue, showcasing products from women and sectoral entrepreneurs under the “We Care Together” Program and Project GEMS (Gender, Economics, and Management). | 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘜𝘈𝘖 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘪 𝘚𝘊𝘎
