WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS SHINE AT CBSUA’S AGROENTREPRENEUR TRADE FAIR YEAR 3

In celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) brought together local women entrepreneurs for the 3rd year of the AgroEntrepreneur Trade Fair on March 9-13, 2026, at the CBSUA Pili Inclusivity Park.

The trade fair featured a diverse mix of 30 stalls, ranging from food and beverages to fashion, crafts, and lifestyle products. Stateans explored offerings such as Kimchilog by Sushi Terminal Naga, Friend’s Bite, Elias Best Chao Fan Atbp, Marjhorge Ice Cream at Iba Pa, PetZer’s Creamistry, and Luscious by Amariah’s Cakes & Pastries, while fashion enthusiasts browsed J&D’s Thrift Shop, XNN Fashion Shop, 1996 Clothing, and Celestial Chains. Other concessions included Merscafe, Master Shem, Fruitaka, as well as creative artisanal products from Star Anikx, Rjay Arts & Craft and Ellaine Creations. For other unique products and experiences, Noel and Joy Henna Tattoo and Crafts and ToysMG offered interactive and novelty items.

One of the entrepreneurs, Daisy Sta. Rosa, owner of Fruitaka, shared that her love for fruits inspired her business. “Ang family ko kaya talagang mahilig sa mga fruits, halos every day, kaya naisipan ming mag-business na related sa fruits,” she said.

Almost a year into Fruitaka, Daisy is joined by her children at the stall, turning their work into a special mother-child bonding experience. She added that participating in the trade fair has been especially meaningful, as most of the concession owners are women. “Dakulang tabang ang arog kaini na trade fair, kasi mostly ang mga onwers kan mga arog kaining booth ay mga babae. Kung baga ang kakayahan mi, bako lang sa pang harong, kundi napapaheling mi man ang samong talent and skills sa paagi kaining trade fair,” she added.

Stateans also explored a variety of other concessions, including Momshie Shawarma, Boleh Ayam, Cup N Roll, Snack Shack, Friends Fries 3×3 Tent, and products from Ms. Yan, Ms. Ed Amata, and Ms. Cath, as well as Catindoy, Lola Basing, Tropikurat, and Pyra, showcasing the wide range of entrepreneurial stuff present at the trade fair.

The week-long trade fair highlighted women entrepreneurs as a driving force in local commerce, serving not only as a marketplace but also as a platform for them to connect, showcase their products, and reach more customers.
