The Research Division conducted the Training-Workshop on the Application of Climate–Agriculture Modelling Decision Tool (CAMDT) to Climate Forecast and Extension Advisory (CLEA) on March 1-2, 2017 at the CBSUA Geoinformatics Resource FacilityCenter.

The training-workshop provided scientific enrichment on Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) that could lead to a more dynamic participation of faculty in research and extension activities. Specifically, it aimed to enhance skills of faculty on agricultural and weather modelling and decision – support tools and help chart new and better modalities in the conduct of extension service.

The two-day activity featured Mr. Francis John F. Faderogao and Ms. Vina Angeline Peñaserada of the University of the Philippines Los Baños Foundation Inc. (UPLBFI) as resource speakers.
