5th National Placer on Engineer Licensure Examination

The CBSUA ALE Board passers poses with their mentors and CBSUA faculty.

The university yet again produced another national placer on the board exam for Agricultural Engineering. With their highest passing rate of 87.50% for the first time takers and the National passing rate of 61.05%.

Engr. John Jeric Avila Batanes took the 5th place on the national level along with the other 21st century Engineers: Engr. Christian Adolfo Carillo, Engr. Peter Paul Solomo Mora, Engr. Ramon Jester Tible Lauang, Engr. Kaye Lanuzo Collada, Engr. Arvin Factor Nillo, Engr. Mark Alexander Dreo Lim, Engr. Jay Rupert Loterte Mendoza.

This is the fourth year the University was able to produce top notchers in Agricultural Engineering. Engr. John Carl A. Galvez placed 1st in last year's AELE, Engr. Ed Mari Cedric C. Cornejo also ranked 1st in 2015 and Engr. Jeric Mark B. Llesol clinched 9th in 2014.

Aside from the major accomplishment on the Agricultural Engineering Licensure Examination(AELE) Mark Alexander D. Lim, John Jeric A. Batanes, and Jay Rupert L. Mendoza, with the supervision of Engr. Cherryflor D. Balingasa surpassed the other participating students from twenty-two state colleges and universities around the country and  grabbed the top spot on the National PAEStigan 2017, spearheaded by the UP Society of Agricultural Engineering Students (UP Sages) in partnership with the Agricultural Machinery Testing and Evaluation Center (AMTEC) and the Institute of Agricultural Engineering(CEAT-IAE)  held at the University of the Philippines, Los BaƱos last January 27-28, 2017.
