Charles Allen L. Herpacio Awarded as Regional Finalist at the 56th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines

Charles Allen Herpacio, Regional Finalist, 56th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines.

Charles Allen Herpacio of the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness was awarded as a Regional Finalist and one of the 30 national finalists of the 56th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines held at the Presidential Museum and Library Kalayaan Hall at the MalacaƱang Palace on April 23, 2018.

The annual search for the TOSP aims to give due recognition to students who can serve as role models for others, students who exemplify academic excellence, exemplary leadership, good moral values, and determination to serve the country. TOSP is the domain call of dedicated servant leaders who heed the call of lifelong learning, leading and serving.

Conferring the awards were the Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque, Presidential Adviser Joey Concepcion, TOSP Founder Jose Concepcion Jr., TOSP President Marie Concepcion-Young, TOSP Alumni Community National Chair Pamela Asis-Layugan, and TOSP Chair of the National Board of Judges Dr. Wiliam Dar.           

The TOSP awards and formation program was established on June 19, 1961, the 100th birthday of the national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal by businessman Jose Concepcion Jr. It was held continuously until the declaration of martial law in 1972. The program resumed in 1991.
