University of Ibaraki Professors visit CBSUA

Dr. Takeshi Ohkubo, Vice Dean and Mr. Nabuo Sakagami, Assistant Professor, both from the College of Agriculture and Life Science, University of Ibaraki, Japan visited CBSUA on March 4, 2019.The Japanese professors seek to benchmark CBSUA’s facilities for the AIMS Program and explore possible collaboration on student exchange program in International Food Industrial Science.  They also would like to ascertain possible collaboration with the Graduate School, CANR and on research and development.

The University continues to maintain partnership with the different University from Japan through the ASEAN International Mobility for Students.For the past years, the AIMs program have provided opportunities for CBSUA students to study in Japan and gain more knowledge and insights on solutions to several global issues related to Life and Environmental Science.

ASEAN International Mobility for Students Program (AIMS Program) is a government supported multilateral educational program in the ASEAN region, launched in 2010 by coordinated efforts of Malaysia-Indonesia-Thailand and the current members include Vietnam,the Philippines, Brunei, and Japan.
