Estero Clean Up Drive continues, EMO calls for more sustainable plan and lasting impact

Environmental Management Office (EMO) in partnership with Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Philippine Army (PA), and Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Jose Pili conducted its Annual Estero Clean Up Drive to ensure the maintenance of cleanliness of the creek in front of Camp Martillana along National Highway on 6 July 2019.

EMO Director, Dr. Aries O. Ativo, Dr. Eden Paz, Mr. Phillip N. Talay, and Ms. Marilyn A. Siguenza together with the Philippine Army, the volunteer students and the employees of the LGU-San Jose Pili participated in the said clean up drive. Dr. Ativo aims for a more sustainable and effective plan for the said CBSUA endeavor which will leave positive and lasting impact.


This clean up drive started in 2014 and has been one of the best practices of the University in maintaining its thrust for clean and green environment.
