CBSUA academic programs undergo survey visit

Six academic programs of the University were subjected for accreditation on November 16-19, 2016 at the CBSUA Pili Campus and CBSUA Calabanga Campus.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education, Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Science and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science underwent 3rd survey for Level II re-accreditation. The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine underwent 2nd survey for Level I accreditation. On the other hand, the Bachelor of Agricultural Technology and Bachelor of Science in Biology underwent 1st survey for Candidate Status and preliminary survey, respectively. The CBSUA Calabanga submitted Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Candidate Status.

The academic programs were evaluated based on different areas: Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives(VMGO); Faculty, Curriculum & Instruction; Support to Students; Research;Extension and Community Involvement; Library; Physical Facilities; Laboratory;and Administration.

Dr. Marcela Caluscosin of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University led the accreditors sent by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). Aside from Dr. Caluscosin, 8 other accreditors evaluated the programs were: Dr. Evelyn Vista, Prof. Susan Martines (University of Eastern Philippines), Dr. Jovileo Landicho Jr. (Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology), Dr. Elena Manaig, Dr. Edna Briones (Laguna State Polytechnic University), Dr.Florie Gapido (University of Rizal System), Prof. Ronaldo Sumait (Cagayan State University), and Dr. Marie Fe Bulao, (Pampanga State Agricultural University).
