Infirmary Unit holds oral health lectures

The University Infirmary Unit, in partnership with the Office of Gender and Development and College of Education – Laboratory High School Department, conducted the 13th National Dental Health Month Celebration with this year’s theme, “Ngiting Inaalagaan at Pinagyayaman, Hatid ay Ngiting Di Kukupas Kailanman” on February 28, 2017 at Alvaro Rabina Hall. The activity was participated by the Laboratory High School students.

The celebration conducted a lecture on the importance of oral health in the growth and development, talk on policies and regulations on dental services and of medical services and demonstration on proper brushing.

Dr. Raymund Regondola, Vice Mayor of Pili, and Dr. Joan Arcilla, University Dentist, served as the resource persons. Mr. Napoleon P. Mangente, former president of the Rotary Club of Isarog, also attended the activity.

The activity was designed to strengthen awareness on the importance of good oral health and to change false impression on dental treatment and procedures.
