Mr. Jimwel H. Bonto, a 4th year BS Biology student of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Pili Campus, achieved a significant accomplishment during the ASEAN Student Mobility Program held at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation from February 19 to 25, 2025.

Participating in the Future Innovation Challenge, Mr. Bonto, in collaboration with students from other ASEAN universities, developed the ASEAN EcoVille Connect (ASEAN EVC) project. This project aims to create an e-commerce platform designed to bridge the economic gap between rural and urban areas in ASEAN countries by improving market access for rural businesses. ASEAN EVC seeks to connect rural products with urban markets, thus fostering economic growth and inclusivity.

Their hard work and dedication paid off as they secured 2𝙣𝙙 π™‹π™‘π™–π™˜π™š, a remarkable achievement that highlights their innovative thinking and teamwork.

The ASEAN Student Mobility Program provided a unique platform for students to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and develop solutions to real-world problems. Mr. Bonto’s participation and success in this program not only reflect his talent but also the collective effort of his team and the support from their respective universities.

Congratulations to Mr. Jimwel H. Bonto and his team for their outstanding performance and for making their universities proud!
