The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) held a Focus Group Discussion on April 24, 2026, to assess the implementation of the “Capability Development of Farmers on Crop Productivity Enhancement,” an extension project of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) in partnership with the Christian Farmers Training Center (CFTC) in Cabinatan, Ragay, Camarines Sur.
Farmer-beneficiaries shared feedback on the project’s impact on their productivity and farming practices. The activity is part of the preparations for the AACCUP accreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program.
A farm tour was also conducted at CFTC, led by Manuel C. Mendoza, owner of the training center, together with on-the-job trainees from CBSUA’s Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (BAT) program. The tour featured agricultural technologies and innovations developed in collaboration with CBSUA, government agencies, and international partners.
Present during the activity were Ernesto Asence III, External Evaluator and Acting City Agriculturist of Naga City; Leah Banasatao-Sumalinog; Lizalyn A. Villano, CANR faculty members; and Abigail V. Guinoo, Director of the Extension Services Division. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘌𝘚𝘋
