CBSUA, BISCAST HOLD WORKSHOP ON PRODUCT QUALITY AND LABELING

The CBSUA College of Economics and Management, in partnership with the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST), conducted a training seminar titled “Dress Me Up: A Training Seminar on Product Packaging and Enhancement and Values Formation” on April 24, 2025, at BISCAST in Naga City. The event was held in collaboration with the San Isidro Development Cooperative (SIDECO) and the Zonta Club of Naga and Camarines Sur.

The seminar aims to equip participants with knowledge on product quality, labeling, and values in business. The activity featured Dr. Anna Liza M. Mateo, who delivered a comprehensive lecture on dress-me-up product packaging and enhancement.

Meanwhile, Ms. Jo Anne B. Lopez gave an inspiring talk on values formation and embracing business ethics and principles. She capped her presentation with a quote from Albert Einstein: “Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.”

The training pointed out that packaging not only serves as a barrier between the product and the environment but also provides an avenue for conveying brand identity, shaping a unique customer experience, and impacting sales. The seminar also laid out the importance of building a culture of accountability, respect, and excellence within the organization. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘦 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 – 𝘌𝘚𝘋 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘧𝘧
