The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) conducted the NSTP Leadership Summit 2025 on December 13, 2025, at the NSTP Office, 3rd Floor, Student Center Building, CBSUA Pili Campus.
Under the leadership of Dr. Melchora V. Abonal, NSTP Director, the summit brought together student leaders from the ROTC and CWTS components under the theme “One CBSUA, One NSTP, One Leadership.”
The summit served as a convergence of cadets and civic youth leaders, highlighting unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility in nation-building. The program opened with the assembly of NSTP participants, followed by a Transformational Leadership Seminar and orientation sessions emphasizing leadership, patriotism, civic duty, and active citizenship in accordance with Republic Act No. 9163, also known as the NSTP Act of 2001. Speakers and facilitators underscored the vital role of the youth in national development and community service.
Throughout the activity, participants engaged in leadership workshops and proposal-making sessions, allowing students to share best practices, exchange perspectives, and develop critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. The interaction between ROTC and CWTS participants fostered mutual understanding, strengthened campus cooperation, and reinforced the value of unified action despite differing NSTP components.
The NSTP Leadership Summit 2025 highlighted CBSUA’s commitment to producing disciplined, socially responsible, and service-oriented student leaders. Beyond skill development, the activity strengthened the students’ sense of purpose, accountability, and dedication to public service. The successful conduct of the summit reaffirmed CBSUA’s role in shaping future leaders who are empowered, values-driven, and prepared to contribute meaningfully to community development and nation-building. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘔𝘳.
