CBSUA–CVM EXTENDS FREE VETERINARY SERVICES AT LGU MINALABAC FESTIVAL

The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) provided free veterinary medical services during the Buswak-Tumatarok Festival of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Minalabac on April 22, 2026, at the Municipal Covered Court in Minalabac, Camarines Sur.

The outreach activity was led by Veterinary Hospital and Vaccine Center Director Joseph Martin G. Jarcia, DVM, together with CVM students, who provided free castration services for aspins (asong Pinoy) and puspins (pusang Pinoy), in support of responsible pet ownership and animal health.

Pet owners availed of the services as part of the festival’s community-centered activities, allowing the university to contribute technical expertise in veterinary public health and animal welfare.

This engagement extends CBSUA-CVM’s continuing efforts to assist local government units and communities in advancing animal health management and responsible pet care practices across Camarines Sur. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘌𝘚𝘋
