CBSUA FACULTY MEMBERS PRESENT RESEARCH AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN THAILAND

Three faculty members from Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) recently presented their research at the 4th International Conference on Governance and Development (ICGD4). The event, held at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 30 to August 2, 2025, served as a platform for academics and practitioners to exchange ideas and foster partnerships on effective governance and sustainable development.

Calabanga Campus Administrator, Dr. Ernesto D. Doloso, Jr., presented his paper titled “Community Education Interventions in Disaster Risk Reduction for an Agta Community in the Philippines.” Pili Campus CDE Faculty and Elementary Education Program Chairperson, Karen B. Perez, shared her research on “Drivers and Barriers in Institutional Planning Engagement at a Philippine State University.” Additionally, University OSAS Director, Dr. Jessel Anne P. Rodriguez, presented her paper titled “Transformative Learning in the Internship of a Baccalaureate Program at a State University in Camarines Sur, Philippines.” All three faculty members also contributed to the conference by serving as session chairs or co-chairs during the parallel research presentation sessions.

The ICGD is a biennial event co-hosted by the College of Public Affairs and Development at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos and Kasetsart University. It is designed to facilitate the presentation and exchange of innovative ideas, learnings, and experiences among international delegates.
