The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) formally inaugurated the Student Admission for Internationalization Program (SAIP) Building, also known as the SAIP Visiting Scholars’ House, on December 12, 2025, at the OVPBEA Building of the university.
The newly opened facility is designed to support CBSUA’s growing internationalization initiatives by providing a dedicated and welcoming space for visiting scholars, international faculty, and academic partners from abroad. The SAIP Visiting Scholars’ House reflects the university’s continuing commitment to global engagement, academic mobility, and cross-cultural collaboration.
The inauguration was highlighted by the blessing of the building led by Father Bernard Martinez Lagatic, Parish Priest of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish. University President Alberto Naperi delivered the message during the program, emphasizing the strategic importance of the SAIP Building in advancing CBSUA’s internationalization agenda. He highlighted that the facility will serve not only as accommodation but also as a hub for collaboration, dialogue, and innovation among local and international scholars.
“The SAIP Visiting Scholars’ House stands as a tangible manifestation of CBSUA’s vision to be globally connected while remaining grounded in its mandate to serve agriculture, education, and sustainable development,” President Naperi noted.
University officials, faculty members, and staff witnessed the inauguration, marking another milestone in CBSUA’s efforts to position itself as an active participant in global higher education. The SAIP Building is expected to further enhance the university’s capacity to host international programs, visiting professors, and collaborative research initiatives in the years ahead. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘋𝘳.
