C/MAJ Arnulfo Azuer 2CL, had the distinct honor to represent the CBSUA ROTC Unit-Pili Campus at the Regional ROTC Summit CY 2025, held at the historic Camp Elias Angeles in Pili, Camarines Sur, on October 25, 2025.
This activity was hosted by the 9th Infantry (Spear) Division under the supervision of the 5th Regional Community Defense Group (5RCDG), Army Reserve Command, Philippine Army. The one-day summit gathered over a hundred ROTC leaders from across Region V, including CDC Directors, ROTC Commandants, Chief Clerks, Corps Commanders, and selected Cadet Officers.
Key activities included:
Policy Updates and Directive Briefing – Clarifications on NSTP-ROTC integration, reserve force mobilization protocols, and the role of ROTC in national resilience.
Leadership and Civic Responsibility Modules – Interactive sessions on ethical leadership, disaster response integration, and countering disinformation in the digital age.
Best Practice Sharing – ROTC units presented innovative training models, community engagement projects, and cadet-led initiatives in environmental and health advocacy.
Inter-Unit Coordination Workshop – Establishment of a Region V ROTC Cadet Leaders’ Network for sustained collaboration and joint training exercises.
The event, themed “Shaping the Next Generation of Patriot Leaders,” served as a strategic convergence of military guidance, academic partnership, and cadet initiative aiming to forge a more unified, capable, and mission-ready Reserve Force. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘳.
