CBSUA ROTC UNITS EXCEL IN RAATI 2026, GARNER HIGH INSPECTION SCORES

The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) units of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), delivered an impressive performance in the recently concluded Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI), achieving high marks that reflect their discipline, preparation, and military competence.

The CBSUA Sipocot Campus ROTC Unit emerged with a score of 935.41 points or 93.54% during the inspection held on April 26, 2026, while the CBSUA Pili and Calabanga Campus ROTC Unit closely followed with 930.54 points or 93.05% during the April 23, 2026 evaluation. These results underscore the units’ commitment to excellence and adherence to the rigorous standards set by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The inspection was conducted in the presence of Col. Sisenando A. Magbalot Jr., GSC (INF) PA, Chairman of RAATI 2026 and Assistant Division Commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs, together with his party, who oversaw and evaluated the participating ROTC units.

The RAATI is conducted annually in accordance with Republic Act No. 9163, also known as the NSTP Act of 2001, and serves as a comprehensive evaluation of ROTC programs nationwide. It measures cadets’ proficiency across administrative management, tactical execution, drills, and leadership competencies. As a required component of the Military Science 2 (MS 2) curriculum, participation in RAATI is essential for cadets’ academic progression and completion of the ROTC program.

Both activated ROTC units, CBSUA Pili and CBSUA Sipocot, along with annex units from Calabanga and Pasacao campuses, actively participated in the preparations and execution of the RAATI. The training included practical drills, tactical demonstrations, and academic reviews aligned with the Program of Instruction prescribed by the Reserve Command, Philippine Army.

University officials credited the success of the ROTC units to the dedication of cadets, the leadership of ROTC officers, and the continued institutional support of CBSUA.

The RAATI continues to play a vital role in reinforcing the core values of integrity, honor, discipline, and leadership among ROTC cadets, preparing them to become responsible citizens and future leaders.

With their strong performance this year, CBSUA ROTC units have once again demonstrated their readiness and capability to uphold the standards of military training and service. | 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘍𝘈𝘔𝘈𝘚, 𝘕𝘚𝘛𝘗, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘯
