The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) welcomed delegates from Sorsogon State University (SSU) for a benchmarking activity on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on December 1, 2025, at the CBSUA Boardroom.
The visit supports SSU’s ongoing efforts to secure its own Environmental Impact Statement from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources–Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB). Having earned its EIS in 2022, CBSUA shared its journey, processes, and observed practices with the SSU delegation. All campus Pollution Control Officers (PCOs) were present during the activity and addressed the guests’ concerns and queries. They were also joined in by CBSUA Pili’s Campus Administrator, Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario and COA Auditor.
University President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi also provided guidance and shared his experiences from the time CBSUA was working toward securing its EIS.
This knowledge-sharing activity reflects CBSUA’s commitment to promoting collaboration with other universities, building on what it has already accomplished.
