The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) ROTC Unit- Pili Campus, under the operational supervision of the 502nd Community Defense Center (502CDC) led by LT. COL. Josephus Emar M. Rempillo, assisted by the NSTP Office spearheaded by Dr. Melchora V. Abonal, earned 1st Runner-Up out of 10 different contenders in the Paskorale Competition conducted by the 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army (9ID, PA), on December 12, 2025,
The competition was held at Camp Elias Angeles, Pili, Camarines Sur, as part of the Divisionโs Yuletide activities, highlighting the spirit of Christmas through music, discipline, and camaraderie among participating units. The Cadet โChorale (under SWKS) Group delivered a well-coordinated and heartfelt performance that demonstrated not only musical skill but also the values of patriotism, teamwork, and service instilled in ROTC cadets.
This achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and talent of the cadets, as well as the effective guidance of their ROTC instructors and the unwavering support of the NSTP Office and 502CDC and 5th Regional Community Defense Group (5RCDG) leadership. Their performance stands as a testament to the ROTC programโs role in shaping well-rounded, disciplined, and culturally grounded citizen-soldiers.
The Paskorale Competition served as both a celebration of tradition and a demonstration of excellence, affirming the cadetsโ commitment to ROTC values and their readiness to serve with integrity and unity.
