Continuing Education and Training

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) is committed to making quality education, scientific knowledge, and practical technologies accessible not only to its students but also to the broader community. Through its Continuing Education and Training (CET) initiatives, the University provides opportunities for lifelong learning, capacity development, and technology transfer for farmers, professionals, youth groups, and the general public.

CBSUA’s CET Program supports the dissemination of science-based knowledge through short courses, technical training, seminars, technology demonstrations, and non-formal education. These activities strengthen agricultural productivity, professional growth, and community development. CET programs cover a range of areas, including:

  • Agriculture extension training
  • Technical and vocational skills development
  • Continuing education for professionals
  • Other community-responsive learning opportunities
  • Public Learning Platforms and Community Education Programs

To widen access to knowledge, CBSUA hosts free and open educational activities that engage both internal and external stakeholders.

e-Balangibog is the University’s digital learning series offering free webinars and open-access lectures. Featuring experts from CBSUA and partner institutions, the program covers a wide range of topics such as sustainability, agricultural engineering, soil and water management, academic development, and community empowerment. Sessions are open to the general public and often provide certificates to participants.

CBSUA provides various channels through which community members can access information, learning materials, and training resources at no cost. These include:

  • Free online webinars and lectures with certificates
