The University security office is the one responsible for securing peace and order within the university

The University Security Management Office is headed by the Security Management Officer who performs the following duties and responsibilities: 

  1. Maintain peace and order in the University compound;
  2. Ensure security of all properties of the University;
  3. Act as property custodian of firearms, communication equipment and other security paraphernalia issued;
  4. Ensure timely renewal of licenses pertaining thereto;
  5. Prepare documentation of all security activities of the University;
  6. Enforce the duly approved guidelines and policies on campus security;
  7. Promote harmonious relationship with other security force coordinators in other campuses; and
  8. Perform other duties and functions as delegated by the University President
