History of Gender and Development

     The Gender and Development of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) started its operation in 2001. Initially, GAD Program, designed to streamline task performance of men and women in the university, was composed of three major components: Continuing Education; Men, Women and Children’s Welfare and Research, Development and Extension.  GAD Program was under the Extension Services Division.

   With the introduction of CHED Memorandum Order No.1 Series of 2015, issued on January 5, 2015, the CBSUA GAD shall take lead in collaboratively planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating GAD Programs, Projects and activities designed to institutionalize gender equality, gender responsiveness and sensitivity in the university.
