27th National Research Symposium Award

Prof. Hidalgo wins silver award in 27th National Research Symposium
 
Prof. Hanilyn A. Hidalgo of the College of Economics and Management won Silver Award during the 27th National Research Symposium sponsored by the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Agricultural Research (DA-BAR) on October 14-15, 2015 at the Sulu Riviera Hotel, Diliman, Quezon City. Her paper titled “Vulnerability Assessment of Agri-ecotourism Communities as Influenced by Climate Change” won the Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization Act (AFMA) Best R&D Paper Silver Award, under the Socio-Economics Research category.  The27th National Research Symposium (NRS) themed “Climate Resilient R&D Towards a Globally Competent and Competitive Agriculture and Fisheries” highlights the importance of research and development in addressing the threat to climate change. NRS is a major annual event of the BAR that features the works of the country’s scientists and researchers contribution to agriculture and fisheries R & D.
