Announcement: Guidelines on Admission

The Bicol Consortium for Agriculture Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (BCAARRD) spearheaded the conduct of two-day Farmers and Industry Encounter through Science and Technology Agenda (Agri-FIESTA). Agri-FIETSA is a technology diffusion strategy activity which typifies a fiesta atmosphere in enhancing technology transfer and commercialization of local and agriculture products. It was held at Albay Provincial Agriculture Office, Farmers Bounty Village, Cabangan, Camalig Albay on March 7-8, 2019. This year’s theme isScience and Technology for the People, with the slogan “Kaalaman, Kakaiba, Kwenta  at Kayang Kaya”..

            CBSUA joined the two-day trade fair and exhibit through the participation of Extension Services Division and Research Division. Faculty members from CANR, CEFS, and CEM also participated In the said event. The two-day event was filled with various activities such as Ribbon cutting and Agri Exhibits, and Plenary Session on Support System to Agripreneurs. Agrepreneurs and Experts met at the Media conference (Mediacon)on the first day. Agri-Entrep Day and Technology Pitching, Contest Proper for Cook fest and Photography was held on the second day.

            Different kinds of products were displayed and traded by the SUCs, LGUs and other organizations and farm establishments who were invited to the said event. CBSUA’s products were bottled honey,molido, tablea, buko, bigmo chips, cassava kropek, turmeric and ginger tea, kamote, lynch, and fruit/vegetable blended coco-water. Dr. Nila Oñate exhibits her root crop washer and coconut extractor, Prof. Russell Rosalinda Rastrullo together with Dr. Fe B. Perlas exhibited the vetiver grass and its handicraft products.
