CBSUA CDE INITIATES HYBRID PRESENTATION OF INTERNATIONALIZATION BEST PRACTICES

The College of Development Education, through the support of the Office of Business and External Affairs, spearheads the Hybrid Presentation of Internationalization Best Practices on October 14, 2022 at Anne’s Pool Resto, Villa Caceres, Naga City and via Zoom Conferencing. CBSUA’s four campuses, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Bulacan Agricultural State College, Benguet State University, Camarines Norte State College, Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology, and University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka’s (UHAMKA, Indonesia) College of Education Deans and Internationalization Focal Persons participated in the said event to showcase their best practices on internationalization, share existing linkages, as well as to convene on future collaborative activities.

The Director of Partnerships and International Affairs of UHAMKA, Purnama Syaepurohman. PhD, started the sharing of their best practices then CDE and its partners followed. They also discussed with Dr. Purnama, the possible activities and programs that they could collaborate with UHAMKA. BASC is interested about the early childhood education program, CNSC wanted to delve into student exchange and extension activities, BISCAST had an interest on student internship as well as the Early Childhood Summer Course, and PSAU was also eager for linkaging and collaboration with UHAMKA.

The finalization of the proposal for the 2nd International, 1st National, and 7th Regional Forum on Education and Research with the theme “Education Research During COVID -19 and Beyond” on January 25-27, 2023 was done. The activity concluded with the COE Deans signing the proposal and awarding of tokens and certificates to the partners.

On the second day, October 15, 2022, the participants will have their cultural interaction, where they will visit tourist sites in Naga and Albay.
