Ang Sentro ng Wika at kultura
Ang Sentro ng Wika at kultura (SWK) ay kinikilala ng KWF bilang sangay na panrehiyon na pinagtibay alinsunod sa Kapasiyahan ng Kalupunan ng mga Komisyoner Blg. 13-22 serye 2013. Mayroon sa kasalukuyan 22 Sentro ng Wika at kultura na nakanase sa iba’t ibang koleiyo at unibersidad sa buong Filipinas. Bukod sa mga gampaning pangwika, ang SWK inaasahang mangunguna sa pagsusulong ng mga katangiang pangkultura ng pook, bayan, lalawigan, o rehiyon na kinalalagyan nito.
1. There shall be a University Sentro ng Wika at Kultura Office headed by a Director who shall have the following duties and
responsibilities:
a. Conduct/supervise activities such as conferences, seminars, competition, contest and other similar activities for the advancement of Filipino language with the consent of the KWF (Mangasiwa ng mga aktibidad, gaya ng kumperinsiya, seminar, paligsahan, gawad timpalak at katulad para sa pagpapalaganap ng wikang Filipino nang
may kaukulang pahintulot ng KWF);
b. Participate and if possible lead in the promotion of cultural and traditional traits (town, province or region) where it is
located (Lumahok at kung maaari’y manguna sa pagsusulong ng mga katangiang pang kulturang pook (bayan, lalawigan o rehiyon) na kinalalagyan nito);
c. Conduct researches, gathering, and presentation that showcase the language and cultural practices of the place (Magsagawa ng mga proyekto sasaliksik, pagtitipon, at pagtatanghal ng wika at kulturang naturang pook);
d. Create linkages and partnerships with organizations and institutions inside or outside the University especially with the DepEd, CHED, TESDA, DOT, NCIP, DILG, indigenous people’s organizations, and LGUs through the Indigenous People’s Mandatory Representative (IPMR) towards the fulfillment of linguistic and cultural aspirations (Magtatag ng matalik at mabisang ugnayan at
pakikipagtulungan sa mga organisasyon at institusyon sa loob at labas ng unibersidad, lalo na sa DepEd, CHED, TESDA, DOT, NCIP, DILG, people’s organization ng mga katutubo, at LGUs sa pamamagitan ng Indigenous People’s Mandatory Representative (IPMR), tungo sa katuparan ng mga adhikaing pangwika at pang kultura nito);
e. Strengthen the campaigns and projects of KWF, especially in the use of Filipino language and in promoting the welfare of every teacher in Filipino (Magtaguyod sa lahat ng kampanya at proyektong KWF, lalo na sa pagpapalaganap ng wikang Filipino at sa pangangalaga sa kapakanan ng mga guro sa Filipino); and
f. Manage all tasks and projects of SWK and continuous updating/ feedbacking the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) (Mamamahala sa lahat ng mga Gawain at mga proyektong tanggapan at palagiang pakikipag-ugnayan sa Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino).
- ARTS AND CULTURE AFFAIRS / SENTRO NG WIKA AT KULTURA
- A.) The Arts and Culture Affairs aims to uplift the culture and art awareness, values, and skills of the students through different forms of arts, and this is composed of Theater, Dance, Music, Visual Arts Literary Arts, Communication Arts, and Film & Media Arts.
B.) Ang Sentro ng Wika at Kultura ay may layuning magtagayud sa lahat ng kampanya at proyekto ng KWF, lalo na sa pagpapalaganap ng wikang Filipino at sa pangangalaga sa kapakanan ng mga guro sa Filipino.
- A.) ACA- To develop the talents & skills of students performer in form of workshops, Shows, Competitions, and other related activities.
B.) SWK- Makapagsagawa ng mga Proyektong Pangwika at Kultura tulad ng mga Palihan o Seminar, Tunggalian at Pagbuo ng mga Pananaliksik Pangwika , Panitikan at Kultura.Makipag ugnayan sa ibang institusyon o ahensya tungo sa pagsulong ng mga proyekto o kampanya ng KWF hingil sa Wika at Kultura .
- ACA/SWK – Conduct at least 80 % of Seminars/Workshops, Shows, and Competitions. Planning for research & Documentation of Cultural heritage
- ACA/SWK- Conduct Free Workshops for the Performers and Free Seminars for Teachers and Students.
- A.) For ACA Clients secure a Request Form from the OSAS and it will be forwarded to ACA/SWK office for Approval.
B.) For SWK Clients visit the SWK office.
