CBSUA ADHERES TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF ISO 14001:2015 EMS THROUGH THE ISO 2ND SURVEILLANCE AUDIT

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) has completed a three-day second surveillance audit for its ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) on December 9-11, 2024. Conducted by TÜV Rheinland Philippines at the Alvaro Rabina Hall, the audit engaged top management, administrators, and key personnel as part of a thorough review of the University’s environmental policies and practices across its four campuses in Calabanga, Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot.

Throughout the audit, the TÜV Rheinland team examined CBSUA’s implementation of its EMS and commended the University for key actions that reflect its strong commitment to environmental stewardship. They also provided valuable recommendations and identified opportunities for continuous improvement to further enhance the University’s environmental performance.

University President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi expressed his gratitude to the auditors and acknowledged the efforts of CBSUA management, personnel, and process owners in sustaining the institution’s pledge to a Green CBSUA. The successful completion of the audit reaffirms the University’s dedication to strengthening sustainability in its operations, instruction, research, and extension services.
