Ms. Shekenna F. Sta. Ana, Mr. Mathew M. Go, Mr. John Martin DC. Sanchez (3rd-year), and Ms. Claudette Francine C. Bihag (4th-year) were officially awarded international mobility grants for Academic Year 2025–2026 and will undertake a Short-term Exchange Programme under the Innovative Food Science and Technology Program at the School of Agro-Industry, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand. Their exchange period will run from January 05 to May 09, 2026, together with other international students hosted by the Thai university.
During the courtesy visit, President Naperi congratulated the students and commended them for representing CBSUA in a prestigious international academic platform. He emphasized the importance of global exposure, cultural exchange, and academic excellence in shaping globally competitive graduates, and encouraged the students to serve as good ambassadors of the University and the country.
The AIMS Programme serves as a multilateral platform for academic exchange and collaboration, advancing regional integration and community building in higher education. CBSUA has been an active participant in the programme since 2014 through the Commission on Higher Education – International Affairs Service (CHED-IAS), with Food Technology as its recognized discipline. To date, the University has deployed 17 short-term exchange students and engaged hundreds of stakeholders through various AIMS-related activities.
As a strong advocate of academic internationalization and sustainable education, CBSUA continues to support initiatives that broaden students’ global learning experiences and foster cross-cultural understanding, reinforcing its commitment to international engagement.
