CBSUA ORIENTS 11TH BATCH OF SEA TEACHER PROJECT PARTICIPANTS

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) oriented the 11th batch of SEAMEO SEA Teacher Project participants on March 26, 2026, at the Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs, preparing them for their upcoming international teaching internship.

The pre-departure activity provided essential briefings on academic requirements, cultural engagement, travel protocols, and financial responsibilities, ensuring participants’ readiness prior to deployment. University officials and program coordinators led the sessions, tackling the importance of professionalism and adaptability in an international academic setting.

Messages were delivered by university officials, with Vice President for Administration and Finance Dominador F. Faurillo speaking on behalf of SUC President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, noting the value of global exposure and the responsibility of representing the University abroad. Participants were also oriented on institutional partnerships, including collaboration with Universitas Borneo Tarakan, Indonesia, as well as discussions on immigration requirements and post-program deliverables.

The activity wrapped up with an open forum where participants raised questions and clarified concerns, followed by the signing of waivers and a photo opportunity.
