CBSUA reinforces its commitment to global education through its successful participation in the North Intensive Program 2026, an international academic collaboration held in Belgium from March 23 to April 03, 2026, in partnership with VIVES University of Applied Sciences and Howest University of Applied Sciences. The program served as a dynamic platform for academic exchange, innovation, and cross-cultural learning, bringing together students and faculty from Belgium and the Philippines to engage in discussions and activities centered on sustainable agriculture, climate change, and entrepreneurship.
Representing the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) were four outstanding student from its campuses in Pili, Sipocot, Calabanga, and Pasacao: Jasmin Batiancila Sinahonon, a 3rd Year BS Agriculture major in Animal Science student from Pili Campus; Gwen Nicole M. Rodrigo, a 2nd Year BS Marine Biology student from Pasacao Campus; Ivan R. Lumabe, a 2nd Year AB English Language student from Calabanga Campus; and Alex Tristan G. Leosala, a 2nd Year BS Information Technology student from Sipocot Campus, under the guidance of their faculty coach, Sir Francis Leo Loberanes, Chairperson of the Department of Agricultural Technology and NIP Coordinator. Their participation highlighted not only academic excellence but also the Filipino values of resilience, adaptability, and leadership on the international stage.
Through this meaningful global engagement, CBSUA continues to strengthen its commitment to producing globally competitive graduates, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and advancing innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The University proudly congratulates its delegates for their exemplary participation and for elevating CBSUAโs presence in the international academic community.
