The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) community is celebrating the historic appointment of one of its own. Dr. Charlie P. Nacario has been named the 3rd President of the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST).
In a message delivered during todayβs flag-raising ceremony, Dr. Nacario expressed profound gratitude for the support of the entire CBSUA community, particularly President Dr. Alberto N. Naperi. He acknowledged Dr. Naperiβs mentorship, stating that a key measure of a good leader is their ability to cultivate new leaders within their organization. Dr. Nacario also emphasized a message of hope and divine timing, quoting Isaiah 60:22: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
The universityβs international engagement also continues to grow. CBSUA recently extended a warm welcome to several international students from Universitas Muria Kudus (UMK) in Indonesia. Joining the Agrotechnology Program are Khilmiana Pradita Rahmawati and Amalia Intan Sabila, while Alfi Fadilla and Aril Ardianto have joined the Agribusiness Program. Their arrival underscores the university’s commitment to fostering international academic collaboration and exchange.
