The CBSUA-College of Economics and Management (CEM) collaborated with the ZONTA Club of Naga and the Philippine National Police to conduct its 5th training session on Urban Gardening as part of a community development initiative on July 19, 2024, in barangay Capucnasan, Milaor, Camarines Sur.
The primary goal of this training was to encourage and empower individuals to impact their immediate surroundings through urban gardening positively. The aim was to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge of urban gardening. Ms. Gracia P. Cabida, a faculty expert from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, facilitated the training. She emphasized the role of urban gardening in fostering community and family bonding and its contribution to a healthier and greener environment in urban areas. Practical activities such as soil media preparation
and proper planting of seeds in seedling trays were also included in the training.

Guerrero, Barangay Captain of Capucnasan, Milaor, PCpl Kevin Jet Bilog from the PNP Camarines Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and RPSB Team Delta, and the project leader and faculty from the CBSUA College of Economics and Management, Gladys G.
