In line with the university’s commitment to promoting mental health awareness and accessibility of psychological services, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Guidance and Counseling Unit initiated an online and campus-based visibility campaign from February to March 2024. This initiative aimed to increase awareness among students about the availability of free counseling services and to provide easy access through a QR code system linked to the online counseling request form.
During the months of February and March 2024, the unit implemented a series of information dissemination activities. The official university Facebook page featured a post containing the QR code that directed students to the online counseling request form. The post was made visible throughout the campaign period to encourage easy access and engagement.
The initiative successfully strengthened the promotion of mental health services within the university by combining digital accessibility and physical visibility. The use of QR codes and online posting proved effective in reaching a larger number of students, while the dissemination of brochures and infographics complemented these efforts by reinforcing awareness. The campaign demonstrated the institution’s proactive stance in ensuring that students are informed and supported in their mental health needs.
