As an academic institution deeply committed to sustainable development and climate resilience, the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) hereby pledges to transition all of its operations — including instructional facilities, research laboratories, administrative offices, and campus services — to 100% renewable energy in the near future.
Recognizing the Philippines’ unique vulnerability to the impacts of climate change — including tropical cyclones, sea-level rise, and energy security challenges — we view this commitment as both a moral responsibility and a strategic investment in the well-being and prosperity of our community.
Through this pledge, CBSUA aspires to lead by example within the Philippine higher education sector.
