Alumni from various batches of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) Pili Campus, together with the University officials, faculty members, staff, students, and guests, gathered for the 2026 Grand Alumni Homecoming on July 11, 2026, at the CBSUA Atrium in Pili, Camarines Sur, with this year’s theme, “Balik Unibersidad: Pagpupugay sa Nakaraan, Paglinang sa Kinabukasan.”
Activities began with a Zumba session, followed by a goto breakfast and the Batch Kurumustahan, where alumni from different graduating classes had the opportunity to reconnect. A Eucharistic Celebration officiated by Rev. Fr. Reynaldo T. Chavez Jr. followed, after which participants joined a motorcade. The Alumni Association also held its business meeting, where financial and project reports were presented and nominees for the new set of officers were introduced.
A highlight of the celebration was the presentation of the 2026 Outstanding Alumni Awards, recognizing graduates who have distinguished themselves in educational leadership, teaching, research, extension and community service, and entrepreneurship and farming. Retired faculty alumni were likewise honored for their years of service and contributions to the growth of the University.
The evening program featured welcome remarks, production numbers, performances from various alumni batches, inspirational messages, and mini-raffles. During the program, the University also recognized the Silver and Golden Jubilarians, outgoing Alumni Association officers for 2024–2026, and recipients of special awards for Biggest Batch Representation, Best Batch Uniform, Best Batch Presentation, and the Oldest and Youngest Alumni Participants.
Guest speaker Dr. Charlie P. Nacario, SUC President II of the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST), shared his experiences and encouraged fellow alumni to continue striving for excellence and to remain active partners in the University’s programs and initiatives.
The annual homecoming once again brought alumni back to the University, providing a venue to celebrate milestones, recognize distinguished graduates, and strengthen alumni engagement in the life of CBSUA. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘈𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘯𝘪 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦
