The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), through its Department of Food Science (DFS) under the College of Engineering and Food Science (CEFS), proudly held a Recognition and Testimonial Ceremony to celebrate the remarkable feat of its successful examinees in the 2024 and 2025 Food Technologist Licensure Examination (FTLE). The event took place on December 3, 2025, at the Ciriaco N. Divinagracia Hall, CBSUA.
The day commenced with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Bernard M. Latagic, and was attended by the honorees, students, and DFS faculty members.
Following the Mass, a short program organized by the Student Council recognized the department’s pride, conferring certificates and tokens upon the successful passers.
The activity was then followed by the program proper, Dr. Allan B. Del Rosario, Campus Administrator of CBSUA-Pili, extended his heartfelt congratulations. He lauded the University’s consistent performance in the FTLE that reflects the high-quality education delivered to CBSUA students.
The honorees then shared their journey, imparting their personal narratives of the strenuous preparation, hardships, struggles, and hurdles they overcame while preparing for the board examination. Several passers shared effective study techniques and review strategies. Adding a personal touch, a parent of one of the passers was also given a special opportunity to share stories of their child’s inspiring journey.
This triumph stands as a powerful testament to the university’s dedication to producing industry-ready graduates capable of competing successfully in the food technology sector.
