Information and Communications Technology Office

The Information and Communications Technology Office shall be headed by the ICT Director with the following duties and responsibilities:

a. Manage the day-to-day operations of the of the ICT Office and ensure the efficient delivery of its mandated services and committed targets;
b. Assist in the development of ICT programs of the University and monitor the ICT related initiatives across campuses;
c. Spearhead the formulation of proposals – as Special ICT projects of the Office of the University President, its submission to funding agencies and its effective implementation;
d. Establish and maintain linkages, development cooperation and partnership with local and international institutions engaged in ICT;
e. Oversee effective implementation of the MIS programs/projects and manage the electronic database of the University in coordination with the Institutional Planning and Development Office;
f. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the ICT programs/projects and submit reports to the University President; and
g. Perform other duties and functions as delegated by the University President.
