CBSUA, BALLT INITIATE TALKS FOR 2026 LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) held an initial meeting with the Bicol Association of Language and Literature Teachers, Inc. (BALLT) on January 29, 2026 to explore a possible partnership for the conduct of the 2026 Language and Literature International Conference. The discussion marked a key step toward strengthening academic collaboration in the fields of language and literature.

The meeting was facilitated through the Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs (OVPBEA), particularly by the Institutional Linkages and Special Projects Director, Dr. Christopher B. Dacer, and the International Relations Office Director, Dr. Raquel M. Reapor. BALLT was represented by its officers, headed by Dr. Jenifer R. Sevilla.

Discussions focused on aligning institutional goals, leveraging shared expertise, and co-organizing an international conference that will serve as a platform for scholarly exchange, research dissemination, and intercultural dialogue. Both institutions underscored the importance of collaboration in advancing language and literature education while strengthening regional, national, and international academic linkages.

CBSUA and BALLT expressed their intent to formalize the partnership through the execution of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), which will define the scope of cooperation, roles, and responsibilities in the planning and implementation of the 2026 conference and future joint initiatives. The meeting reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to promoting academic excellence and meaningful collaboration in language and literature. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘋𝘳. 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘉.
