The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) underwent a simultaneous internal audit across its campuses last March 3-6, 2026. This activity is part of the university’s commitment to maintaining the standards of the Environmental Management System.
The internal audit aimed to validate the compliance of the university with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, including its applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The audit covered various offices and units, including the academic colleges.
The internal audit process was conducted simultaneously in the Calabanga, Pasacao, Pili, and Sipocot campuses to ensure that all units were audited in a coordinated and systematic manner. The internal auditors reviewed the implementation and effectiveness of the university’s environmental management system, particularly in the operations of the university. The activity involved auditing the procedures and documentation of the offices and colleges.
This activity enabled the university to identify the good practices that were implemented, ensure compliance with the standards established, and determine the areas that may need to be improved. The results of the activity will help the university to further enhance its commitment to environmental protection. | 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘘𝘈𝘖
