The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) officially kicked off ORBIT 2026 β Opportunities for Regional Bridging of Initiatives through Internationalization on September 28, 2026, bringing together learning, innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise development in a week-long celebration led by the Office of the Vice President for Business and External Affairs (OVPBEA).
The five-day initiative, running from September 28 to October 2, 2026, provides a common platform for students, faculty, entrepreneurs, partners, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, build connections, and showcase innovations and enterprises. It also brings together the initiatives of the offices under the OVPBEA, including the International Relations Office (IRO), Institutional Linkages and Special Projects Office (ILSPO), Resource Generation Office (RGO), and University Business Affairs Office (UBAO).
The opening day featured ORBIT LEARN: AI-Powered Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship, a seminar given by Engr. Mar-Muriel Evaristo, National Sales Manager of Vast Agri Solutions Inc. The activity focused on the practical applications of artificial intelligence in agribusiness and entrepreneurship, highlighting the growing role of emerging technologies in creating opportunities for agricultural enterprises.
Following the kickoff, ORBIT MARKET: Enterprise and Innovation Showcase is currently underway today, September 29, at the Lobby of the Administration Building. The activity brings together products, enterprises, and innovations from CBSUA and its partners, providing a venue for showcasing local creativity, entrepreneurship, and business initiatives to the university community and visitors.
The ORBIT Market booths will remain open until October 2, allowing participants and visitors additional opportunities to explore the featured products and innovations throughout the week.
The celebration will continue with ORBIT CONNECT, featuring the Language and Literature International Conference (LLICON) 2026 from September 30 to October 2, in partnership with the Bicol Association of Language and Literature Teachers (BALLT) and Archipelago Education Consultancy OPC, providing an international venue for academic exchange, research presentation, and professional collaboration.
Through ORBIT 2026, CBSUA continues to create opportunities that connect innovation, international engagement, partnerships, and enterprise development, reinforcing the university’s role in bridging regional initiatives with broader opportunities through internationalization.
