CBSUA STUDENT EMERGES TOP 2 IN DA YOUNG FARMERS’ CHALLENGE – REG’L UPSCALE CATEGORY

Mx. Marimar C. Boaloy, a fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness student of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) College of Economics and Management (CEM), emerged as Top 2 in the Regional Level – Upscale Component of the Department of Agriculture’s Young Farmers’ Challenge (YFC) and bagged an additional P300,000.00 in business capital.

After winning at the Provincial Level – Startup Category last year, with P80,000.00 startup capital in her innovative product, the Marci’s Pato Pastil, Mx. Boaloy has once again demonstrated her entrepreneurial potential by advancing to the regional level through her proposed enterprise, Marci’s Pato Kitchen, showcasing the diversified product innovations from duck meat like Pato Adobo sa Gata, Pato Caldereta, and Pato Afritada.

Her achievement highlights the potential of young agripreneurs to transform agricultural products into innovative, value-added enterprises while contributing to local economic opportunities.
