The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) has successfully retained its existing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification and has been granted new certificates following the completion of an audit conducted across its campuses by TÜV Rheinland auditors on October 23, 2026.

The audit was conducted through a combination of remote and onsite assessments across the university’s campuses to evaluate compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, the international standard for quality management systems. The process assessed the university’s implementation and maintenance of its quality management practices, ensuring that institutional processes remain aligned with established standards for quality assurance and continuous improvement.

The retention of the certification and the grant of new certificates underscore CBSUA’s commitment to upholding quality standards in its academic, administrative, research, and extension services. This achievement reflects the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen institutional processes, improve service delivery, and ensure that its operations remain responsive to the needs of its stakeholders.

As a public higher education institution, CBSUA recognizes that maintaining a robust Quality Management System is essential to fulfilling its mandate of providing quality and accessible education, advancing research and innovation, delivering relevant extension services, and contributing to sustainable agricultural development and community empowerment.
