Dr. Serrano visits CBSUA, Complementary Food Processing Facility strengthened

New DOST Regional Director, Dr. Rommel S. Serrano, took an official look at the Complementary Food Processing Facility at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture on 12 February 2020.
University Key Officials headed by the University President, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi, accompanied the Director in the said visit.

The Complementary Food Processing Facility established in 2016, continuously operates to provide and serve nutritious snacks to the beneficiaries of the program. The plant produces Rice-Mongo Crunch and Rice-Mongo-Sesame Baby Food Blend, monthly. Several partnerships with LGU’s, schools (private and public), and NGO’s were made to help alleviate the malnutrition in the province.
