SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being

CBSUA implemented a “smoke-free” policy in 2021, which remains active as of 2023. Crafted by the Resilience Center and approved by the Board of Regents, this policy is titled “Environmental Policies and Guidelines.” Section 4.0 of the policy mandates a strict smoking ban across all university premises, in alignment with Civil Service Memorandum No. 17, Series of 2019, also known as the “100% Smoke-Free Environment Policy.” Additionally, stores within the university are prohibited from selling cigarettes, reinforcing CBSUA’s commitment to a healthy, smoke-free campus environment.
