CDE, GAD LEAD TRAINING OF TRAINERS FOR EVALUATORS OF GENDER-SENSITIVE INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

College of Development Education, in partnership with the Gender and Development Office, conducted the Training of Trainers for Evaluators of Gender Sensitive Instructional Materials on July 11-13, 2022 at the CND Hall of the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Pili Campus.

The Leveling Session on Evaluating Gender Sensitive IMs, Gender-Neutral Language, and Gender Issues in Short Stories was facilitated by Prof. Joanna Marie B. Perez, the GAD Coordinator and Language Instructor of CBSUA-Pasacao. Meanwhile, the talks on ‘Pagsusuri ng Akda/ Maikling Kwento’ and Evaluation of Gender Sensitive Modules were further discussed by Prof. Elbert O. Baeta, a DepEd Module Evaluator and Language Instructor of the Polytechnic State University of Bicol.

The workshops concentrated on Identifying Gender Issues in Short Stories (English and Filipino) and Validation of the Gender Sensitive Module Questionnaire. The participants of the said training were the language professors, colleges and other campus GAD coordinators, and researchers on GAD-related studies.
