International Webinar on Taro Production and Development

International Webinar on Taro Production and Development will be spearheaded by Taro Center and closely coordinated with VPRI Office, Extension Division and ICT office with the theme: “Initiatives on Taro Development: Its Challenges and Opportunities” will be held on 19 November, 2021 at 8:00AM -12:00 PM (Philippine Standard Time) Friday.
The mission of the Taro Center at the University is to foster the implementation of taro research and development as one of the commodities in agriculture, particularly in the Bicol region. Its focus is to forge interdisciplinary partnerships to advance technology transfer by implementing and developing collaborative research, education, and initiative programs related to taro development.
International Webinar on Taro Production and Development provides a platform where experts can share their knowledge and experiences on taro technology and recent scientific explorations, Establish scientific networks with other organizations, institutions, and other universities and stakeholders, and gain new insights on the Taro production and development with emphasis on opportunities and challenges in this trying times.
