The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) thru the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation published and released its International Journal containing research outputs on agriculture-related disciplines of the faculty-researchers.
The journal articles are peer-reviewed by institutional referees (subject specialists) as well as external referees from different research-partner agencies of the university. The university aiming towards an Agriculture Research University had its research and innovation cluster to cope with the SUC Level IV Standards and QS Ranking.
Included in the strategies to enhancing the institution’s research and innovation is the creation of an international-indexed journal (ISI/SCOPUS) for CBSUA which is directly managed by the OVP for Research and Innovation. This began thru Dr. Maria Dulce J. Mostoles’ initiative continued by the present VPRI Dr. Ramona Isabel S. Ramirez. Agrikultura: CBSUA Research and Innovation Journal has its code, ISSN 2782-8816.
Dr. Ravindra Chandra Joshi served as the University Editorial Board. He facilitated the selection of the Associate Editors coming from different research institutions and universities who are academicians and authority in their respective fields of specialization. Invitations to these renowned Associate Editors were sent thru the Office of the University President. Editorial policy as well as the guide for contributors was formulated preceding the naming of the journal.
